Silk Road - Ebony and Silver - Limited Release Art

Having collected, over many years and much travel, a rather lovely

collection of oriental tribal jewellery, it seemed a waste to keep it all locked away. So the idea of

displaying them on pots especially made for each one was born. It had the added advantage of being

able to explore the endless voluptuous possibilities of domes and finials.

 

These pots are all wonky. Each bulb is individually formed and then attached – a fearsomely tricky maneouvre.

So they are all different – don’t expect any two bulbs to be the same. Most of the jewellery – anklets and bracelets -

can be taken off and worn, and cleaned.

 

The pots are all marked with my old London (silver) hallmark, and the year.
